The Situation

I feel horrible that I did not expose Wickham when I had the chance. Now Lydia's immaturity has put the entire families reputation at risk. I do not understand what she was thinking, she does not know anything about him. If only she knew that he is a no-good scoundrel just searching for money. I am just happy that Georgiana is not in this situation.

    You are not the only one to blame, Mr. Darcy. Elizabeth and i are at equal fault. We should have told, even more so than yourself.

    Our family reputation has been completely soiled, and at this rate, none of us may ever get married. I do hope though that you do not judge Elizabeth because of Lydia. Trust me, Elizabeth is having second thoughts and really likes you. Please don't allow immature Lydia ruin your chances at true love.
