Delighted

I was delighted to discover, upon arriving home, that a beautiful young lady, Elizabeth, was touring my house with her aunt and uncle. This was perfect timing because this way she can meet my sister, Georgiana. They have very much in common, young, pretty, both are talented pianists. I do believe it will be an unbreakable friendship between these two. Perhaps, that will incline Elizabeth to rethink her response to my proposal.

    If Elizabeth encounters Giorgiana, then your relationship is going to flourish. The common hobbies of the two will start a friendship that will last forever. Even once you finally marry Lizzie. Maybe they can play piano together at the wedding.

    I can only hope that your attempts to associate your sister and my daughter are successful. It has come to my attention that Elizabeth is far too stubborn to listen to my advice, or the advice of anyone not her own age. I think it will do her good to be influenced by a member of your family that she an more relate to.
